Hair appointment at noon, getting a wash and plaits for a braid out, then 2:30 pm nail appointment for a mani and pedi. Until then I'm chilling watching Velma season 2, lol I think I'm the only one who enjoys this show. It's funny af.

I had been not wearing nails or only doing press ons (which got me into coffin shape) that I’d take right so my nails could get a break from gel-x but I have a nail appointment today to get a set (doing coffin I usually do almond) and a pedi.

My grandaddy was buried with all his Mason stuff. Lol they keep a tight ship. My granny on my dad side was the same with Eastern Stars.

I do think on this bird app, everything is a polarizing extreme, and nuance dies. But that really stems from being in an era that abandons media literacy and comprehension for engagement-seeking reactions. Context doesn’t exist here.

I believe we need more sex & desire on screen, because we haven’t gotten expansive depictions of anything beyond straight folk intercourse. I need the sapphic, gay, trans, diverse racial and ethnic stories to have their moment before everyone becomes a prude like Carrie Bradshaw.

There’s one other young person who is a couple years younger than me I believe in episode 2 in the roundtable portion. But y’all are noticing generational tone differences. There’s a lot of Black scripted shows that exist now I’m sure were pitched in 2012 but finally got made too
