Deputy PM Chris Fearne finally did the right thing, placing the good of the country before himself. It’s high time other officials impicated, most urgently Central Bank Governor Prof Edward Scicluna, do the same.

I applaud President of Malta's timely words in defence of the judiciary in light of the bitter attacks by the Prime Minister. This is what leadership looks like. A sober defence of our institutions that work in defence of citizens. Not of partisan, or worse still, criminal interests.

Joseph Muscat's chargesheet wreaks of treachery & yet this is precisely what his successor accuses me & my colleagues of.

We know why they were so terrified of scrutiny.

We know why they hated Daphne so much.

We know why they are fighting so viciously.

Daphne was right.

Malta's Central Bank Governor is reportedly facing criminal charges in connection to the worst fraud in Maltese history.

It is a non-starter that Edward Scicluna should continue leading the Central Bank any longer. RESIGN.

Maltese democracy is once again on the precipice as its Government is using an electoral campaign as a thin veneer to incessantly attack the judiciary for daring to hold top government officials criminally accountable for their crimes. This attack must not succeed, students warn.

7 years after Daphne's assassination and it is shocking but no surprise that continues to trail in press freedom indices.

We fought for a new hope for Maltese journalism and we will fight for the anti-SLAPP Directive and the to apply with full force.

With money-laundering charges looming for the fraud of 's hospitals, the judiciary is facing an unprecedented attack. It is clear that there is no line this corrupt government will not cross to secure the continued impunity for Joseph Muscat & his accomplices.

Attacks on the judiciary belong to a class of demogogue as Putin or Orban. They have no place in . If they persist they will lead to grave consequences at EU level. I will make sure of it.
