New figures show how the scale of Bristol's housing crisis has more than doubled in size over the past seven years, with many more people now staying in temporary accommodation and on the waiting list for social housing

Woken up to reports of several Vote Green poster boards being torn down by saboteurs in different parts of Bristol. Is there a group of people who are scared that we could win? 🤔🤔🤔

The dark hand of the Treasury & No 10 was exposed in court today demanding cuts to walking, wheeling & cycle funding without considering impacts (or that active travel schemes offer far greater value for money than road building)

Lovely to bump into Extinction Rebellion Bristol in Shire this morning. We discussed clean air zones, airport expansion and the need for more radical action from government. 🌍

Bristol Labour are trying to make me look bad for suggesting that we should follow the evidence about how to save lives in Bristol.

Kye Dudd said Labour would do the legal minimum in order to save lives and reduce pollution.

Introducing our candidates: Katy Grant is standing for Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner.

Katy worked overseas for more than 20 years, largely with the United Nations, on issues of child protection and violence against women.

Labour really are pathetic.

Clean air is a human right.

They can't both claim to care about it and send politically partisan letters to The Green Party leadership days before an election that look exactly like the Tories!

Want Green? Vote Green.

Darren, @BristolGreen Party's priority is the health and wellbeing of the people of Bristol.

It's not current Bristol Green Party policy to expand the CAZ, but we'd never rule out a measure if evidence showed it would save lives.

The real question is why would any party do so?

'With nearly 800 councillors to Reform’s 9, the [Green] party is already – often quietly – plugging away locally. Often, that’s holding Labour’s feet to the fire. Very soon in Bristol and elsewhere, that role may be reversed'

one of our election asks is to demonstrate Cycling Ambition and accelerate the roll out of School Streets and Liveable Neighbourhoods.

School Streets are such an easy measure to help address pedestrian safety around schools, and to encourage more children to walk to school.

Unfortunately, massive signs, bollards and road markings are not sufficient to stop parking directly outside schools!

A. Most polling stations are within walking distance of any address.

B. Why is Susan Halli demanding a freebie for polluting motorists but no freebies for non-polluting e-car drivers or cyclists? Or free bus tickets?
