Canadian 🇨🇦 Olympic and Paralympic swimmers are beginning to arrive in Toronto ahead of trials.

Media day on Saturday. I’ll be at the pool with sights and sounds.

Coverage begins opening day Monday and goes throughout the seven-day event.

The good news is we’re off the plane.

The not so great news is that it’s not in Toronto.

After an hour on the tarmac we’ve gotten out of the plane in Washington and are delayed for an unknown time. High winds in Toronto. We love a travel day. Sometimes.

Good afternoon from Washington National Airport. Where I raced to my gate to get back to Toronto.

And now am sitting in the plane. Learning there’s a ground stop in Toronto because of high winds.

So we’re sitting here for a while.

Spending my last night in The Bahamas watching the end of an epic series.

My hometown Saskatoon Saskatoon Blades and Moose Jaw Warriors are heading to OT in Game 7. Remarkably it’s the sixth OT of the series.

One of the best series in a long time. Outstanding.

Just spent the last couple of hours at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas.

A stunning 500 piece national collection that explores the paradise myth vs reality here.

A powerful exhibit that sheds so much light on the complicated history here. Definitely visit it.

Back and forth these massive cruise ships 🛳️ go into and out of the Nassau Cruise port.

It’s a pretty incredible thing to watch these ships be maneuvered with such ease.

A successful World Relays for Canada to be sure. I’m staying on the beach in The Bahamas for a couple of days of rest and recharge before heading back to Toronto.

Then it’s straight into Olympic and Paralympic swimming trials. Paris 2024 is coming.
