Today we hosted our annual Culture Catwalk. Today, in aid of BradfordFoundationTrust 🧡 students came into college in their finest cultural dress. In the afternoon they enjoyed food and drinks as they cheered on their peers in the catwalk. Stay tuned to hear how much we raised!

We observed 2 minutes silence today here at D6A, remembering the service and sacrifice of the UK armed forces and remembering innocent lives lost. It was an honour once again to have our silence be marked with bagpipes and drums from Robert McLean and one of our YR1 students.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have BBC with us in college to interview some of our A level Psychology students. Students mentioned how proud they were to represent Bradford, they spoke on politics, climate change, knife crime and vaping!

Over the weekend a mural of Tahani Amer, an Egyptian Muslim Scientist for NASA, has appeared on our campus. The artwork is part of 'Fuelling Futures' by LEAP Bradford which is funded by Mission 44 to promote further education and career paths for young people in STEM!
