A great team, led admirably by Quinton Bruch, uncovering some reactivity that was totally counterintuitive ( at least to me!) and fascinating!
Super excited to share my Schlenk Line tutorial which is now online in Organometallics 🥳 I hope that this tutorial will be a helpful resource to anyone performing or teaching air- and moisture-sensitive techniques! #RealTimeChem #ChemEd #SchlenkLine pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Developing this model with Faraj Hasanayn and Pat Holland and Alan Goldman was so much fun! I look at N2 complexes in a whole new way now… excited to see how reconsidering how we draw and classify bridging N2 can lead to new chemistry!
Well timed for the Inorganic Reaction Mechanisms GRC starting today! If you can’t make it to Galveston, reading this special issue of Organometallics is the next best thing. Lots of fantastic mechanistic studies to dig into here!
Looking forward to host Prof. Alex Miller Alex Miller from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this Friday BASF España #ICIQseminar!
Keep an eye on the Bruch group, or better yet consider joining a new team destined for great things! Can’t wait to see what you discover, Quinton Bruch!
Happy 20th birthday to Yandulov and Schrock's report in Science Magazine on catalytic ammonia synthesis from N2 using a molecular catalyst! What a big moment in the field. My favorite part: four isolated intermediates all shown to be equally active. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
OK OK Sidney Hill you can rock it just a little less now, you’re making the rest of us look bad! Just kidding… ROCK ON! 🤘
