Pumping <6x in 24hrs appears to be a threshold (when expressing after a very prem birth). It increases chances you’ll struggle to develop an optimum yield. 8-10x meant highest yield. Pumping within 6hrs of birth significant (for longer term yield). Dr Ilana Levene at #ABMconf23
