I had a really productive meeting with the team from Scottish Grocers Federation this week in Holyrood.

We had a good discussion on a number of important topics and spoke about how we can continue to support the sector.

We warned Humza Yousaf his Hate Crime Act would be a disaster. Now the police, legal experts and the public are all telling him it should be scrapped.

The First Minister seems to be the only person in Scotland who thinks his Hate Crime Act is working well.

I spoke to Selena Bundy and Cllr James Bundy yesterday to discuss BE FAST - Increasing Stroke Awareness in Scotland’s efforts to improve awareness of stroke symptoms.

This is an extremely worthwhile campaign which they have pursued since the tragedy that struck their family and I am delighted to support their efforts.

Today we gave Labour and the Lib Dems an opportunity to admit they made a mistake by backing Humza Yousaf's Hate Crime Act and vote with us to scrap it.

Shockingly, they chose to double down on their support and voted to keep this bad SNP law.

From the outset, patients in Burghead and Hopeman have been ignored and sidelined over the closure of their GP surgeries.

I fully support the efforts of Save our Surgeries campaigners and constituents in their campaign to restore these vital facilities.

Today in Holyrood we will give the SNP, Labour, the Lib Dems and others the chance to fix their mistake and vote to repeal Humza Yousaf’s Hate Crime Act.

All have raised serious issues with Humza Yousaf's Hate Crime Act yet the SNP justice secretary made a blanket statement that those with concerns were 'exaggerating' and spreading 'false facts'.

Since the Cass Review was published, Meghan Gallacher MSP has requested multiple statements – all refused or ignored.

Today, the SNP and Greens voted down yet another Scottish Conservatives attempt to get answers for vulnerable young people and their parents.

Since the publication of the Cass Review the SNP have buried their heads in the sand, rejecting Meghan Gallacher MSP's calls for a statement to Parliament.

Our priority has to be the wellbeing of vulnerable young people – the use of puberty blockers must be paused by NHS Scotland.

It's disgraceful that senior officials were already discussing closing these vital healthcare facilities before they had even consulted the public.

Terrific visit to Oban Lifeboat Station, seeing their new boat and meeting Coxswain Ally, mechanic Tom and the team.

In the RNLI’s 200th year, it was also an opportunity to pay tribute to crews across the country who go above and beyond to save lives and keep our waters safe.

Fantastic visit to Scottish Association for Marine Science near Oban this morning with Tim Eagle MSP and Amanda Hampsey.

Great to see their robotics facility, seaweed nursery and collection of live cultures as well as learning more about their world-leading marine research and teaching.
