Rowan University students took part in the Douglass Day's "transcribe-a-thon" this week to make abolitionist Frederick Douglass' letters, notes and other papers searchable and more accessible. It all happened on the day Douglass chose as his birthday.cbsnews.com/philadelphia/n…
Yesterday, two dozen students, staff, & faculty celebrated #BlackHistoryMonth by participating in the annual #DouglassDay Transcribathon. This year, the General Correspondence series of the Frederick Douglass Papers, held by the Library of Congress, was selected for transcription.
