As always, this is a good time to promote this amazing book by Robbie Shilliam which explains the baked-in racism and perfidy of the Labour Party and the way racialisation distinguishes the “deserving” from the “underserving” poor and working/class: politicalscience.jhu.edu/faculty-books/…

The extent to which US or UK based journalists are protecting Israeli soldiers raping, destroying and committing all sorts of atrocities is astonishing. Their neglect didn’t go anywhere this far with US/UK soldiers committing the same. I really am just amazed at the complicity.

What do you call it when you close all exits, destroy all routes out, and bomb every inch of a tiny strip with as much munitions as THREE Hiroshimas?

Working on your syllabus? Consider including a piece from our “Asian American Abolition Feminisms” double special issue Frontiers Journal. The issues bring together scholarly inquiry, movement artifacts, creative works that orient us towards abolitionist world-making.

Every few days, white men kill white women in the UK. Barely reported, nobody riots for these women, or attacks 'white' spaces/communities in response, nobody presents these as a collective pathology of 'honour killings' Pure, violent, ambient patriarchy. theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-int…

Seeing lots of posts on my timeline about the new academic year, people starting new jobs, PhD programmes, etc. A reminder that 1000s of Palestinian staff and students are unable to start the new academic year because of Israel’s ongoing scholasticide & genocide
