So people who don’t actually know the data on GLP-1 agonists talking about GLP-1 agonists.

Seems legit.

Btw none of these things are true.

In fact these drugs may actually prevent chronic kidney disease / decrease progression.

I believe most of this ignorance stems from the conflation of physicians with the failing healthcare system as if they are the cause. The problem in healthcare is not the doctors; it's the system! If you don't understand this point, you will never understand healthcare.

“You don’t need medicine to lose weight. You just need to stay consistent with a diet.”

The medicine helps you stay consistent with a “diet” when you wouldn’t be able otherwise.

A patient who lost 100 pounds with Wegovy - lost coverage was starting to regain weight.

“Food noise” was back

Added a small dose of bupropion and naltrexone and the “food noise” lessened and now they aren’t regaining weight

This doesn’t work for everyone. Needs to be studied

Excess weight can be harmful.

It’s not either or.
