What a beautiful place this was to give a talk. If you’re ever in Birmingham and weary of the hubbub, find it at the top of the LibraryofBirmingham — where it also affords superb views of the city. Everything to Everybody
Make sure you join us and our friends from Friction Arts next Saturday, 25 November 2 - 4pm LibraryofBirmingham to witness Ophelia's Coat of Power - created by women and girls - as it processes through the building.

A lot of fun last night to talk about the feline history of the LibraryofBirmingham First Folio alongside other talks about the Folio by my Shakespeare Institute colleagues Dr Chris Laoutaris and Tiffany Stern. Here are some catty slides from my talk… Thanks, Everything to Everybody!
Last night Dr Chris Laoutaris, Robert Stagg & Prof Tiffany Stern - along with the superb performance poet Sipho Eric Ndlovu - treated Everything to Everybody to a WONDERFUL celebration of the the People's Folio of Birmingham. When we unveiled it, it seemed to glow.
One of the highlights of presenting on the First Folio today with Profs Fernie & Stern & Robert Stagg, at the stunning Shakespeare Memorial Library LibraryofBirmingham was Sipho Eric Ndlovu's powerful 4-act spoken word performance poem about the Folio & its legacies! Sublime!! 👏 😀
