Year 1 have been learning the correct posture for writing. Sitting back in the chair, feet on the floor, with ankle, knee and hip at 90 degrees. Tripod pencil grip and the other hand resting on the page. A balanced core is crucial for writing. #consistency #handwriting

Preparing lunch at Jamie’s farm for everyone, peeling and chopping the onions made our eyes water. Digging and weeding and planting rhubarb,what a fab morning we have had on the farm.

Y2 made tents using their findings, after testing materials against different weather conditions last week. They #collaborated to ensure the tents had a strong structure and wouldn't let any rain water in. Pillows and sleeping bags were also made to keep it nice and cosy! #DT⛺️✂️
