Today, we have successfully completed the first training session of our yearly #IUU Newcomers training on the EU IUU catch certification scheme.📄🎣🌊

A second session will come up next week. In total, 37 participants form 15 different Member States will be trained.🙌 #WeAssist

Speaking at the #OurOceanGreece about fisheries #sustainability : a global challenge that needs strong partnerships.

Which is why, as part of the €3.5 bn we pledged for ocean protection, almost €2 bn will help support sustainable #fisheries & #aquaculture in the Mediterranean.
