Pleased to attend this meeting on behalf of the parents & childcare providers we work with & hear from daily.

We need however to move beyond hearing about the issues, which are well understood, to focus on short & long-term solutions that deliver for families & childcare sector

Minister Paul Givan has identified c£400m needed to deliver on
Northern Ireland Assembly needs to consider the return on this investment in terms of economic growth, parental employment & children's long-term development. This is not a cost, it's an investment, already long overdue

While we accept that delivery of a new Early Learning & Childcare Strategy will take time, it is not good enough that there is no progress on the promised interim support for - parents are struggling right now with many being forced out of work. Urgent action needed.

Our short video explains why we need to .

One in ten children in Northern Ireland live in households affected by the two-child limit.

Agreed - it's now 2+ months since parties supported the affordable motion in the Northern Ireland Assembly but we still no update on the 'urgent' support that was promised or clear timetable for delivery of the new Childcare Strategy. Time for warm words is over, action is needed.

Representatives from Cliff Edge will be at Stormont tomorrow.

We encourage all MLAs to support the Opposition Day motion to remove the two-child limit.

This policy is a key contributor to rising rates of child poverty in Northern Ireland.
