Today, I joined Edouard Ngirente and his fantastic team to launch the Rwanda Future Drivers of Growth study, a joint report from Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning and World Bank. An important milestone on the path to #Vision2050
I was delighted to officially launch, in presence of Kristalina Georgieva, CEO World Bank the Report on Future Drivers of Growth in Rwanda.Its findings come to complement strategies that the Government of Rwanda has already begun to implement in order to deal with some of the identified challenges
On behalf of Pres. Paul Kagame I delivered opening remarks at the official opening of the African Development Bank’s Annual Meetings in Busan, Korea. I also participated in a dialogue centered on « Accelerating Africa’s Industrialization » the theme for this year’s meetings.
Was honoured to represent H.E Paul Kagame at the Global Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council in #Argentina where #Rwanda was recipient of the inaugural Global Leadership Award. I explained the role of tourism in Rwanda's development journey.
I was happy to discuss agriculture sector with @RwandaParliament both Chambers, Senate and Chamber of Deputies. I reiterated Government of Rwanda commitment to transforming agriculture in all its aspects: contribution to GDP, job creation, poverty reduction, food security and nutrition.
Have launched the new Pan-African Strategy, #YoungAfricaWorks a partnership btn Government of Rwanda & Mastercard Foundation . Congratulated Mastercard Foundation for its initiative to develop tourism & hospitality industry & improve quality of secondary education.
It was a pleasure to receive Richard Stearns, World Vision President and CEO. Our discussions focused on water and sanitation, health, education, food security and fight against malnutrition which are areas of common interest btn GoR and World Vision
