Gerald Dawe (known to us as Gerry) edited PIR 137. His editorial seems even more relevant in today’s troubled world. Gerry was a valued contributor to Poetry Ireland Review including with this poem, ‘Straws in the Wind’ in PIR 26 from 1989 Full Statement: poetryireland.ie/news
