Here is the 'Future Keeling Curve' using the most recent data through April, 2024, showing the peak in 2074 at 487ppm. The inflection point was in early 2019.

And no, this won't happen. It's just the curve the data predicts.

If recent trends continue, we'll make it to Net-Zero in 2074, with CO₂ peaking at 487ppm.

This April was the warmest on record, at 1.58°C above the pre-industrial baseline, making April, 2024 the 11-th consecutive record breaking month.
