Sergeant York gained worldwide attention in 2004 when he was the Riderless Horse at the funeral of former President Ronald Reagan.

Happy Birthday, Nemo! This handsome Quarter Horse turns 23 today.

Nemo worked as a camp horse at a now-defunct upstate New York dude ranch. He has permanent scars on his mouth from the equipment he was forced to wear during trail rides.

Onaqui's been receiving her first vaccinations. We prepare her by applying pressure to the area with different objects, like a toothpick, & numbing the spot with ice. This process ensures she's familiar with the sensation of the injection, so she isn't startled.

Henry and Babe the mules are so in sync - It's memorizing to watch!

Fun name fact: Marilyn, a former Amish Work Mule born around 1992, was named after Marilyn Monroe because of her long red eyelashes.

Jack is a former New York City carriage horse whose life was at risk when injuries he sustained over the years ended his ability to perform. We rescued him in 2016 and he now lives a worry-free, comfortable life.

This gorgeous Percheron Cross served twelve years in the U.S. Army Caisson Platoon. He helped to lead the caskets of fallen military members to their final resting places at Arlington National Cemetery.
