Our residents Dr. Brett A. Collins and Dr. Maria L. Lima spent three days in Washington D.C. last month, learning about the 2024 platform of ASA®. The meeting focused on safe VA care, enforcing the ‘No Surprises Act’ for insurance companies, and expanding access to naloxone.

Last week I traded the Cascade mountains of Washington for the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. Backpacking through the Rae Lakes wilderness in Kings Canyon National Park with some friends was spectacular.
