Today I took a look at misinformation relating to the Cass Review. I found a lot of it but not exactly the sort you might expect if you follow mainstream UK media reports.

The word misinformation has been thrown around with wild abandon by Hilary Cass and others in response to criticisms of the Cass Report.

Actual misinformation has spread widely in relation to the report. The lion's share has been supporters of the Report overstating its results.

Section 1557 Regs on Gender Affirming Healthcare just dropped. The document is long and there are already some VERY mixed reviews.

I am most interested in hearing from people who try cases on discrimination and what they will mean for them.

I want to note the case the report is trying to make with this. The first is that there is a high desistence rate so long as parents and providers 'don't give in'. Erin addresses this in the thread. The other half though...

so I blocked Ryan a couple months ago b/c he started tagging me out of the blue to smear my work. lately he's turned most of his attention to smearing trans ppl he disagrees with rather than reporting. I suppose his transition from 'NYTimes' to 'NYPost' is now complete.

Remember that 'issues of bias' are only a problem with systematic reviews they dislike. When it comes to the ones in the Cass Review, which were done by someone with ties to conversion therapy and lobbying, they're totally fine.
