After losing everything to heavy floods, Dil Jan can now produce enough food for her family thanks to the home gardening kits she received from our partner, Food and Agriculture Organization.
Together, we have supported Dil Jan and over 30 thousand Afghans in rebuilding their livelihoods.
Women who have access to and control over livestock have a higher capacity to improve the health, education and food security of their households. Yet, data shows significant gaps in women’s ownership of livestock.
