.Food and Agriculture Organization has distributed #Seeds 🌱 and farming tools ⛏️ to 1 000 returnee households in Magwi County 🇸🇸 for the 2024 planting season.

Now these families will have the opportunity to re-establish their lives by producing #Food and integrating into the community.

In #SouthSudan , #DataInEmergencies Impact analysed the effects of conflict on food security and livelihoods through interviews and focus groups. Conflict sensitive and peace-responsive programming were recommended.

With support from @AfDB, today FAO in South Sudan handed over a range of equipment & vehicles to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to support effective project implementation and coordination.

Construction work for the 40 000 m³ water catchment basin (haffir) in Kapoeta is ongoing.

Food and Agriculture Organization will construct eight with support from the African Development Bank Group
through the Build Resilience for Food & #Nutrition Security project to supply the community & their livestock with clean water.

Through the #Resilient Agricultural #Livelihoods Project, Food and Agriculture Organization started distributing seeds & farming inputs for the 2024
main season to beneficiaries in Jur River County.

100 households benefited from the assorted #Seeds , which will
enable them to produce their own food 🍲
