Anna Stokke Many teachers interviewed for this story said they often have to move so quickly thru the curriculum that students don’t get enough practice time after learning a new skill. Sarah Powell said “it’s a big problem.”

What happens when teachers are pulled from the classroom for four days for PD on evidence based practices for writing instruction? RICAS scores up as much as 16% in some grades - 3.5% for all participating schools! #PDMatters
