With charlatans, tricksters, heroes & villains, follow the epic adventures of the hare, baboon, tortoise and birds, all conjured up by the ancient and mystical Mbira rhythms that lure you down a special rabbit hole in this fabulous free storytelling session. Sat 18 May, 2-3pm.

This was April 26, 2022 as I walked onto the ‘Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities’ site University of Oxford to consecrate the land with #Mbira , prior to ground breaking.

It was a significantly important evening with #RhodesScholars and guests, sharing the spirit of Zimbabwe through #Mbira music and conversation. #HappyIndependenceZimbabwe 🇿🇼

At Oxford, hosted by Christ Church Access, Visiting Fellows Peter Brathwaite and John Falsetto® inspired us by sharing their artistic practices and academic research. In other sessions, we explored the Weston Library, talked about Conservation at the Pitt Rivers Museum, and much more!
