Does anyone else make the faces of the emoji’s they’re typing while composing a message? No? Just me then 😬

There is no public rep in #Limerick who consistently agitates for the public realm and built heritage of the city. Some jump on 'trendy' stories such as the demolition of Curragower House, but not one of them has the protection of heritage as their main area of interest.

Why does this happen? 😭 What’s the point in this? What do they do with the paving that they dig up? They were repairing underground cables. This paving is only about five years old. I’d be arrested for vandalism if I did this

Descriptions of the condition of tenement housing in #Limerick in the 1930s. Poor quality housing often led to diseases like typhoid, dysentery and diphtheria. Lack of employment and clothing are recorded over and over again. From a paper that I’m writing.
