When my children were tiny, I couldn't imagine this moment. But we're sitting at the dining room table, and my 14yo is testing my 15yo's Spanish for his GCSE speaking exam next week, and I'm doing some writing, and, in the breaks, we're chatting and drinking tea. Makes me happy.

I had the BEST lunch with B.P. Walter today, putting the publishing world to rights. We gossiped, ate noodles, and I came away thinking that one of the greatest joys of this job is getting to hang out with fellow writers.

Finished this CORKER by Ruth Ware. I couldn't it down. One Perfect Couple explores the idea of what happens when a group of young people filming a reality TV show are stranded in an isolated paradise. Lord of the Flies meets Love Island. My favourite RW book yet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
