Lammy's homeopathic arms sales ban is despite his review concluding: "there does exist a clear risk they might be used to commit or facilitate a serious violation on international humanitarian law.”

Jas Athwal MP is a landlord with FIFTEEN properties. Complaints about toxic mould were ignored. One of his tenants was threatened with eviction by an estate agent for complaining. Athwal said he doesn't rent to people who receive benefits, which is unlawful. He must resign.

Margaret Thatcher’s government suspended arms exports following Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon killing 20k people, which was only lifted in 1994. Thatcher refused to go along with US President Reagan’s policy. Surprised you don’t mention this.

When Russia invaded Crimea in 2014, the Government banned all arms sales And in 2022, following the full invasion, the Government banned all dual-use goods too There were economic sanctions, diplomatic sanctions, targeted sanctions on key Russian officials too Double standards

During Treasury Qs I raised trade union victimisation at HMRCs Benton Park View office in Newcastle - where 3 PCS Union reps have been dismissed & more face live disciplinary proceedings. I'm pleased the Minister has agreed to look into this matter & provide me with an update.

The final report of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry has now been published. On this day, we remember the 72 lives lost. This report demonstrates beyond doubt that an agenda of deregulation cost lives. We share the grief and anger of the bereaved, survivors and residents.

I've just attended a powerful briefing with legal experts in Parliament about the Government's ongoing export of parts for F-35 fighter jets then used by Israel in Gaza. They were clear these violate international law and must end. I'll be campaigning to ensure that happens.

Good to see ministers have grave concerns about this policy. Let's hope those grave concerns lead to them actually voting against rather than just moaning anonymously in the press. theguardian.com/politics/artic…
