Dictator-worshiping Eritreans' reactions:
When pro-justice Eritreans protest against #TransnationalRepression ,
👉'they're Tigrayans'
When pro-justice Eritreans make donations for Tigray,
👉'oh yeah, Eritreans are so generous'
🤦

Needed for posterity, for justice and accountability. To be conscious of this is a must particularly for those who have assumed leadership and to those who may work to take opportunistic advantages of #Tigray ’s predicament.

'Both #Eritrean and #Ethiopian forces continue to harass the #Tigray an population. The Ethiopian government, having failed to defeat #Tigray , decided to starve it out, and the international community largely went along with that program.'

For true justice and accountability in Ethiopia, #ReinstateICHREE .
For lasting peace and stability in Ethiopia + HoA, #ReinstateICHREE .
Anything else rewards impunity, fuels wars, threatens regional peace and stability, denies victims justice, ...
Rebuilding Tigray is a must. But while doing so, we should make sure that we don't completely erase material evidences of Ethio-Eritrea's genocidal acts. We should have #TigrayGenocide memorial corners in every school, factory, etc.
📣This paper is fruit of a lot of hard work with #Tigray researchers who survived a genocide & never stopped working though not paid for >2years.

Worth reading: Neonatal mortality during the war in Tigray: a cross- sectional community-based survey. The figure indicated that the neonatal mortality in Tigray was increased from 10 per 1000 livebirths pre war to 28.2 per 1000 livebirths during the war. authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S22…
Our recent publication on neonatal mortality during war time:
Neonatal mortality increased 4-fold. The findings of this study indicate the need for an urgent response to address the preventable causes of neonatal death following the war. ResearchGate: researchgate.net/publication/37…
