On another busy day in Westminster, we're grateful to the Minister for London Paul Scully MP for meeting with the APPG officers.
This was a useful opportunity to discuss his ministerial priorities, as well as our cross-party policy interests and shared ambitions for the capital.
Great to address Full Council last night Lambeth Council on a topic close to my heart - solving child poverty. Unfortunately the Govt will be making this worse but the Council will do all we can to support families through winter and school holidays Lambeth Labour
A decade of Tory failure to stamp this out. Instead theyโve taken Britain on a race to the bottom. Working women are disproportionately affected by this scourge.
No ifs or buts, Labour will ban zero hours contracts.

Seeing Suella Braveman say it was 'her dream' as Home Secretary to see vulnerable refugees be deported to Rwanda was one of the lowest moments since I've been in Parliament.
She may have gone, but the PM who appointed her remains. #GeneralElectionNow

On #WorldMenopauseDay2022 we must recognise the huge strides we are making on societal awareness of the issues thanks to efforts of great campaigners.
But with 9 out of 10 women saying the menopause adversely affects their work, we need this awareness to turn into action โ๏ธโ๏ธ

Iโm sat in the chamber and the Leader of the House just said โWell the Prime Minister is not under a desk, I can assure the House that she is not here for a very good reason' - still canโt believe that this will now be in Hansard. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐๐ #GeneralElectionNow
