CSC and THE FOUNDRY CLE hosted an intro rowing session! Participants toured The Foundry’s facility, used erg machines and rowed in the tank room. Coaches helped participants with adaptions to equipment by using tape on oar handles for correct hand placement and contrast with water.

From the mouth of the Cuyahoga River to Akron there are 84 bridges. 20 of these are over the river’s navigable portion. From the mouth to the turning basin, bridges move up and down or swing so freighters can pass. During HOTC, we use bridges as markers of how much is left to go.
