If I was Ash Regan, I’d just have a laugh with my demands.

1. Humza must buy an Ibrox season ticket and be photographed every week in the home kit

2. Angus Robertson has to dress as a duck and must quack in response to all ministerial questions

3. Bring back Take the High Road

Andrew Neil’s evidence to the Lords committee has now been viewed a million times.

Seems to resonate particularly in Canada, where about half of non-state journalism is now government-supported

Two probs:-
1) A free press is a foundation of democracy (free football clubs less so). Free means freedom from government: UK or Emirati. There is no other definition.

2) Parliament (not government) secured that freedom with a House of Lords backbench amendment. Plt≠gvt.
