Sentinel-2 natural and false color imagery from yesterday of the and smoke spreading over Eugene. Air quality not great and car covered in ash specks this morning. Reminiscent of the Labor Day fires here two years ago, hoping it doesn’t get as bad as then

Just wrapped up the wonderful meeting 🛰✨ If you look really closely you can see so many fantastic, talented scientists melting alive in over 100 degree weather and still smiling with excitement over all the future possibilities of InSAR! 🔥🔥🔥

That's all for now! If anyone is heading to the NISAR workshop I will see you next week! And there will hopefully be a few more things I can wrap up and share by the time I finish up here for the summer 🥳

All of the instructors and other TAs been incredible both in teaching and preparation and it's always exciting to see new people get interested in SAR! Special shout out to Dr Gareth Funning and Franz J Meyer for heading it up this year and doing a great job!

Last but certainly not least I got to help out again with the ISCE+ InSAR Short Course! At the most recent SAGE/GAGE meeting I had people come up to me saying they remembered me from the class last year and that I was helpful in explaining material which makes my heart happy ❤️

And if the scripts do work, here’s the InSAR Product Archive where you can try uploading the output files 😁 winsar.unavco.org/insar/

And if you run into errors feel free to let me know so I can fix them before I finish out my time here! Here’s the link: unavco.org/gitlab/unavco_…

I also wrote some scripts that prepare geocoded LOS velocity maps and time series from MintPy for ingestion into the archive! All of these scripts with instructions are on Gitlab. If you have anything you want to try preparing, please go for it.

I was tasked with trying to get the scripts that prep your data up to date. Very happy to say that I got the scripts working to ingest single interferograms from ISCE’s stripmapApp and topsApp, as well as GMTSAR 🥳

On the other side of the scale from science communication and website writing, I got to write and edit some code this summer as well! For any not familiar, there's an InSAR Product Archive where you can upload SAR data and get DOI’s for your products.
