Snapshot into the future Renovation of Belleair CC’s East Course. The majority of Donald Ross’ original holes were lost in the 1980 build of the clubhouse, and the addition of irrigation ponds to the property. Fry Straka Golf will renovate the East with a nod to Donald Ross Society.

Belleair CC was Donald Ross' first course in Florida. Recently, @frystrakaglobalgolf completed a full renovation of the golf course keeping in mind the original Donald Ross design. As usual, they hit a home run with their work here. Belleair #golfcoursephotos

Next week I get to visit Sleepy Hollow CC & one of my favorite short holes in the country. Fun fact: I used the similarities of Donald Ross’ original 4th hole and that of Sleepy Hollow’s 16th to convince Belleair CC to fully restore our magnificent par three. #Golfhistory
