Correct. Before publication No10 said Waheed Alli had a security pass to Downing Street, but indicated it may be temporary. Now they are saying he no longer has one. And even that he hasn’t for a few weeks. Their positions are inconsistent.

So when did Lord Alli lose his Downing Street pass? I’m told the pass doesn’t actually expire until the end of August. But he “handed it back” several weeks ago. No 10 still can’t say what role Alli has, if any, with the government after excellent sleuthing by Gabriel Pogrund
