Just got my 1st haircut here in Granada. Despite my poor Spanish, it was precisely what I asked for--something I struggled forever to get in the States-- and just 13 bucks instead of 3 or 4 times that amount.

One of the things DC sorely lacked was decent window shopping. Here in Spain, in contrast, almost every window offers some eye candy; and more than a few show-off the genuine item.

Evidently, almost anything can count as a measure of Bitcoin's progress in becoming money--except the likelihood that the corner store accepts it.

It shouldn't take more than a moment's thought to realize that the extent to which an asset serves as 'money' isn't measured by its market cap. But experience has taught me that, for many Bitcoin true believers, it takes...forever. (The other stats mentioned are also irrelevant.)
