We kept schools open in 2020, and today’s NAEP results once again prove that we made the right decision.

In Florida, adjusted for demographics, 4th grade students are #1 in both Reading and Math.

In September, our unemployment rate decreased to 2.5%, a full point lower than the national unemployment rate — for 22 consecutive months Florida’s unemployment rate has been lower than the nation’s.

This is the second lowest in Florida’s history.

I am working with the Legislature to call a special session to provide permanent property tax relief for storm victims who lost their homes.

The session will also provide any necessary appropriations for SWFL as well as further reforms to the property insurance market.
