Have you ever tried to buy tickets to a concert or game, but they’ve already been gobbled up by third party websites? We’re cracking down on that in Minnesota by making sure tickets are sold to real people, not bots or scammers trying to triple the price for fans.

Whether it’s a Timberwolves game or a Taylor Swift concert, you deserve transparency around pricing when buying tickets online. 
 
I just signed HF 1989 into law – strengthening consumer protections for fans by banning hidden fees and cracking down on fraudulent ticket sales.

Our Pathways to Policing grant program brings people with nontraditional backgrounds into law enforcement, including people of color, women, and veterans.
 
St. Louis Park – my hometown and a founding member of the program – has already successfully hired 9 candidates.

We’re putting more resources behind recruiting and retaining first responders like Officer Groshens – including our Pathways to Policing grant program, which allows nontraditional candidates to earn a salary and benefits while they train.

The Minnesota House just passed three commonsense gun safety bills. Now I’m urging the Senate to send them to my desk.

Senator David Tomassoni was a proud Iron Ranger through and through. It’s only fitting that we honor this giant by renaming the stretch of Highway 169 between Marble and Mountain Iron – a highway he fought hard to make safer for Minnesotans.
