President Yoweri Museveni has emphasised the need for increased manufacturing of foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccine doses to effectively combat the contagious viral infection affecting livestock.

The Government and Madhvani Group have signed a landmark agreement to set up a sugar factory in Amuru district. The project, which will be implemented in phases, is expected to employ 12,000 Ugandans.

All schools across the country are expected to submit the results of their candidates from June 4th to October 4th, 2024.

President Yoweri Museveni has taken the three arms of Government (Executive, Judiciary and Parliament) to work together to spread the wealth creation campaign though the four-acre model farming approach.

The President highlighted the importance of hard work, saving, and forming Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs) for sustained government support. He reminded the congregation that 'there is no free money; government assistance comes when you are organized in SACCOs

Additionally, Lubega obtains 10 liters of milk daily from his cow. Despite an annual expenditure of 12.5 million shillings, he maintains profitability and provides permanent employment to four workers.

He reported earning 36 million shillings annually from coffee and producing 200 sacks of matooke per month, which provides a substantial income.
