Enormous respect for Cliff Douglas recognising then publicly admitting his previous opposition to tobacco harm reduction was wrong. He is not only one. Would be very useful to collect names of other leaders who did the same.

Vaping debate or more accurately non-debate was never about evidence. Always about perceptions. If it was really about evidence tobacco harm reduction opponents would have admitted they got it wrong years ago
