Night 2 was just as fun as night 1. We are all still flying high & our hearts are full of gratitude & joy. All the things for all the right reasons. We are feeling more fortunate than ever to be able to play our own music surrounded by the coolest & kindest humans on the planet.

Uncle Larry & I cannot believe the outpouring of love & support from this record. We’ve now happily & gracefully included some of dearest friends & musical compadres to join us in the celebration. There’s a special buzz happening right now & I just love riding the wave.

This is how it all started long ago on the Gulf Coast. Playing with my Uncle Jerry every day after school. Started on the blues harmonica & then quickly moved on to acoustic & electric guitar. Distant memories at this point, but this is when I knew there was no other path for me.

Here’s a nice musical exercise for guitar that you can really use in real life. It gets you up the neck without sounding like a pentatonic scale. Simply flat the 3rd to make it a minor idea. Have fun with it! Check out my website for all lesson tiers as well. Thanks, friends!

It was a wonderful weekend here in Nashville with amazing weather. We ran into these new friends in 12 South yesterday and it turns out that their 2yr old daughter is our littlest fan! We then hit up Browns Diner for a few friends bands, cold beers and the best burger in town.

Every Monday night 8-10pm at the Underdog bar in beautiful East Nashville, The GT Trio shows up ready to leave our minds for a few hours. Featuring Tim Marks on the Fender 4 string electric bass guitar & Jordan Perlson on the drums and cymbals. These cats are not messing around!
