NEW today, Centre for Mental Health report commissioned by MHN Chief Executive on the economic and social costs of mental ill health in England in 2022. The total of £300 billion is equivalent to twice the NHS budget that year. It’s a huge cost, mostly paid by people living with mental illness

All living UK Chief Medical Officers support the Tobacco and Vapes Bill.

Smoking kills and harms very large numbers. Most smokers wish they had never started but are trapped by addiction.

A smoke-free generation would be a major health advance.
