Attended the launch of the Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula Foundation & Inaugural Public Lecture. Mr Nkumbula, among #Zambia ’s unsung independence heroes, espoused unity, hard work & was an early advocate of quality education, esp for the girl child. May his legacy live on forever. 🇿🇲

Went on a field visit to #ZARI in Mt Makulu, Lusaka where successful pilot projects were inaugurated for drought-tolerant crops, a brainchild of Presidential Delivery Unit Zambia. Developing climate adaptive seed varieties for our staple foods & biofuels can help reduce reliance on fossil fuels. 🇿🇲

Tonight we launched an international appeal for humanitarian assistance to respond to the drought that our nation experienced in the 2023/24 season.

A proud day as we commissioned in #Ndola , the Chifubu Level 1 Hospital & opened an aeromedical centre under #ZFDS . We thanked the people for their vote that allows us to continue bringing quality health services to citizens & deliver more jobs & business opportunities for all.🇿🇲
