The thing about Single Stair HB1239 is it's not simply a shiny architectural wonky thing. It's a key driver of equitable development. A driver of greenhouse gas emission reduction that will empower Colorado's housing affordability strategy. Governor Jared Polis Speaker Julie McCluskie Rep Meg Froelich

With the median home requiring an income of $159,000, but the statewide median income sitting at $87,598, owning a home is out of reach for the majority of Coloradans. To bridge the gap, we need more affordable homeownership opportunities in Colorado. #NationalHomeownershipMonth

Welcome Home! 🏠 It was such a joy to celebrate the completion of Habitat Vail Valley’s Adam’s Way project that has given 16 families an affordable home to own in Eagle County. Funding for this was in part from a bill we passed in ‘22. Let’s do more of this across the state!
