In Art, Oak Class created paper collages using one visual element as a focus (e.g. colour, shape or pattern). They used cut, torn, folded, crumpled or layered paper then described how they used a particular technique to represent their design. 🎨Learning Together Trust St. David's Haigh #HSDART

In Science, Oak Class carried out an experiment to test for solubility. They used water as the solvent and sugar, sand, flour, coffee and salt as the solutes. They recorded results, formed conclusions then answered questions about their findings. Learning Together Trust St. David's Haigh

What a wonderful morning spent with some of the youngest members of our local community. Our theme this week was "Dinosaurs". We enjoyed playing, singing, messy play, craft and of course some yummy toast fingers! Learning Together Trust

Year 2 really enjoyed their Learning Together Trust Music Experience this week. We sang songs with our friends from the other schools in our Trust family. Then we had a picnic lunch together outside in the sunshine!
