'50% of #ICU patients are affected by infections and most of these are due to multi-resistant microorganisms' says Dr. Maria Cruz Soriano. 'We are working on prevention, stopping transmission and we have to have the best antibiotics available to reduce infection in #ICU .'

#AMR is a global problem requiring a global solution and especially a big boost of #research and awareness rising. #patients need to be much more involved in this issue.
