Saturday 19th August - St Leonard’s tower in will be open for a guided tour to explore the tower, see where the go & enjoy the views from the top. Tours will take place at 1pm and 2pm (numbers limited, first come first served basis)

Today’s tower is St Cuthbert, Holme Lacy which was built at the end of the 14th C. There’s a wooden staircase up to the ringing room & a 2nd to the belfry.
8 bells are hung in an oak frame, cast by the Rudhall family. 1/2

St Peter’s Worfield, a 12th century church just north of .The tower houses a ring of 6 bells which were cast in 1699 by Abraham I Rudhall. The tenor weighs 15cwt (762kg) & is in F.

St Peter, Staunton-on-Arrow. The Norman church was demolished in 1853 & rebuilt. A set of 6 bells were cast by C&G Mears, retuned in the 1970s & rehung in the existing wooden frame on new ball bearings by Taylor’s. An easy going ring of 6-1-16 (325kg) in B flat

St Michael, Michaelchurch Escley. Augmented & rehung in 2018 by Matthew Higby & Co, original 5 date from 1732, new treble is a memorial to those who fell in the Great War.
