Very pleased to see my first case study in the top cases of the last 50 years. It was one of the first cases with a woman CEO protagonist and it’s about a universal leadership problem: how to lead change in a complex organisation.

Very much looking forward to speaking at the summit on how to get more women into top executive roles and, earlier in their careers, into the mission-critical roles that lead to the top.

Today in @lBS we're also working on building relationships with mentors and sponsors. A mentor is someone who has knowledge and with share it with you. A sponsor is someone who has power and will use it for you.

Fourth day of Women in Leadership @lBS today. We’ll be working on designing and using our networks more intentionally.

Here’s a video I did for Lean In on how.

Midweek in our Women in Leadership program London Business School. Today our execs spend the day in small groups debriefing their 360 feedback. An important exercise because women get more vague, subjective and less actionable feedback than men.

2nd day of our Women in Leadership program London Business School. We compare the leadership styles of Satya Nadella in transforming Microsoft and Anne Boden in founding and scaling @Starling online-only bank. A turnaround and a startup. Both worked to shape their organization’s culture.

Yesterday @lbs we talked about the knowing-doing gap: We know the “right answer” is to delegate more, do less routine work in favor of a more strategic focus, and network more broadly. But, we don’t. ’tgetyouthere
