Two of our #H4yth #YouthForum members from Denefield School have organised and generously collected items to make up #snoozebags & #Washbags for our Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust patients. They are returning next week to pack and deliver to our wards🙏

Getting more UK nursing students into university is crucial to increasing the domestic nursing workforce.

But why is it proving so hard?

We look at why students are turning away from nursing and how to reverse this decline:

In a UK-first, OUH have performed a heart procedure where a new valve is delivered through a leg vein under light anaesthetic to treat severe heart valve disease.

This means patients can avoid open heart surgery, and they can go home after just a few days!
