The tragedy of the pandemic for kids is just starting to reveal itself in hard data. It is gob-smacking how badly kids were failed, with cheerful bromides about resilience waving it all away.

There is a great point being made here by IATSE … but trying to extend it to define something like HBO’s THE LAST OF US as “Canadian” reveals that this is still a game largely involving intellectual property.

Two new TIFF Lightbox/Netflix releases that just don't make sense to me, though I'm sure there are ~reasons~: GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY gets week-long theatrical release, ok ... but THE GOOD NURSE is getting theatrical release for just two days: tomorrow and Thurs.
